Tie One On is a simple idea, each month anybody who wants to join in makes an apron based on a theme, then all the results are collected to be shown off in a Flickr gallery. Who knew something as simple as the apron could be so varied and inspiring? The project is lead by Amy who keeps the website Angry Chicken.Themes for Tie One On have included:

• the colorful: pink lemonade and yellow and white
• the whimsical: aprons for toys and apron the musical!
• the practical: mapron (man aprons) and the smock
• the recycled: aprons made from old clothes and dish towel aprons
