The production of building materials creates a tremendous amount of waste but companies like Trestlewood and Steptoe’s Yard specialize in the reuse of timber, bricks, and stone.

You also won’t find any materials at your local big box retailer that have half as much charm and character as what you’ll find at an architectural salvage yard.
