Churning a Go-Go
A revolution is taking place in the dairy loving culinary blog-o-sphere. Remember the classroom demo of shaking a jar of cream till it turned to butter? If not, here’s your chance! Everyone’s making their own butter (methods one and two), ricotta and cottage cheese. I just gave the ricotta method a go, and am charmed with its simplicity and immediacy. It’s a great place to begin on the quest to make your own cheese, not too fussy, and no special ingredients required. Now go get yourself some dairy!
